Causes of Shin Splints
Shin splints are usually caused from pain in the Tibialis Anterior or
Tibialis Posterior muscles. Poor ankle or foot support can be a major
cause of this pain pattern. So can improper alignment of the hip, knee
or ankle. A gait analysis can be helpful as well.
